Common Types of Wallets
It is known to all that wallets are used to hold money, credit cards, photos, ID cards and other small items. Wallets are usually designed in different sizes and shapes. That is to say, there are folded or flat wallets as well as leather or canvas wallets. They can be stuffed into pockets or handbags. Both men and women can carry a wallet. What’s more, some people like to present them to their relatives or friends.
Here are some common types of wallets:
1. Men’s wallets:
Bi-fold wallets are the most commonly used ones by men. There is a fold in the middle of the wallet. They can be used to carry credit cards, ID card, driving license and some cash; breast wallets have folds along the length of the wallet. Thus, money can be stretched in the wallet. Due to thinness and length, such a wallet is usually put into your jacket’s inner pocket; chain wallets are usually hung outside the pocket. They are linked to your trousers through a chain; front pocket wallets are rarely used. And they are usually placed into the front pocket so that the pilferer couldn’t easily get them out of your pocket;
2. Ladies’ Wallets:
Standard wallets include large-size ones and small-size ones. They are bi-fold or tri-fold. And a clasp is added to the wallet. You can stuff your currency notes, credit cards, photos, and coins into such a type of wallet; check book wallets are mainly used to carry check books. Of course, you can put your change and several cards into them; clutch wallets always have a trendy look. You don’t have to put them into your handbag or pocket. They can be carried individually. You can place your cards and cash into them.
Both men’s wallets and women’s wallets can be made according to your preference. Lots of people make their names engraved on the wallet. What’s more, personalized wallets can be sent to others as a kind of gift. As a matter of fact, wallets not only hold some small items, but also provide a sense of security. Anyway, purchasing a chic wallet for yourself is meaningful.
