How to lower the rear on a 2000 sierra.?
I have a 2000 extended cab sierra with a 4.8 v8. I would like to lower the rear so the truck will sit level. I do not want to do anything to the front, or add bigger tires just lower the back. (for cheap cause i am poor) If any one knows what i can use and a simple explantion of how to do it and how it works, it would be much appriecitated. I have tried searching the web but only get sites trying to sell items with no explanation.
Sure, the cheapest way to do this is to use lowering blocks. They only work if the rear axle is above the spring, and you install them by removing the u bolts. You do need to support the axle with a jack and your need to use jack stands on the truck. The only other alternative is to replace, or re-arch the springs.
