If I lost my school book, will they give me the bbok right away when I pay it?

Okay, so I lost my school book. I am willing to pay for it but is there a chance that if I pay for it, they would give the book right away to me or should I wait and few days or weeks until they give me the book?

they have to give you the book right away, or you will not be able to continue with your studies. in my old school it was in their policy to give you the book right after paying for it. check your school policy just to be sure, but they should give it to your right away, unless the dont have an abundance of books. but they will have to provide you with something so that you can continue your studies.
