What are the restrictions on hand luggage for air travel?

Am flying on holiday tomorrow and am busy trying to sort out my hand luggage… Am I likely to be able to take things like tweezers in my hand luggage, or would they be considered as a dangerous object?

Depends on the airline and security, but if I were you, I’d take it out to be safe. Officially, they are supposed to allow “small tools less than 7 inches,” but sometimes they will even confiscate child’s safety scissors.

If you really want to, you could print out this page and show it to security if they stop you, but that would slow you down and could be a pain.
