how do i get lighter fluid off clothes & carpet?
Charcoal lighter fluid bottle opened up in trunk and leaked out onto my car’s trunk carpet, down to the wooden board that covers my spar tire and onto my duffel bag and clothes and some other bags…what am i supposed to do??? Just put them in the laundry? Wash it twice? Will they still be flammable? I can’t wash my trunk carpet…or the board…
I would add some baking soda in the wash with your clothes. Most Car Wash places, that clean out your car and wash it for you, have detailing and carpet shampooing, you might want to call them to ask if they would be able to shampoo your trunk out. Or if you have a carpet shampooer with an upholstery tool, you’ll be able to do it yourself.
